This is the section where we will advertise any auditions or competitions that you may like to go for. Whilst we encourage you to go for auditions to gain experience please bear in mind that there are often a vary great number of people going for the same part and do not be discouraged if you are not successful. Knock backs are a part of being a performer and it is important not to take them personally. It is often not a reflection on your ability as an Actor, Singer or Dancer but an indication that you were too tall, or too short, too big, or too small, your hair/eyes/skin was the wrong colour and so forth.
With the above in mind please see one of your tutors before going for any of the auditions or competitions that we advertise. This will ensure that you do not go for something you are completely unsuited for. It will also make sure that you go with the correct preparation - be-it song, dance or monologue. Often it is hard to judge ourselves whether we are ready, and whilst friends and family are fantastically supportive and incredibly important they are not always aware of what a casting director or judge is looking for. Your tutors will always give you an honest and unbiased opinion so don't be afraid to ask their advice at an appropriate time.
